Eight machines with win32, now they are 8 cute baby's with Linux, specifically Ubuntu and our marvelous administrator gave us a wonderful Sillicon Graphics Workstation. Every piece of these machines will be working into our cluster.
After format and install their new OS we'll read and discuss what will be better for us, Open Mosix or Beowulf.
By the way my machines now are named as: Mandelbrot, Turing, Goedel, Hooper, Cap, Hilbert, Lovelace and Gauss.
